Do your steps float?

Our Step-1X and CCX pool steps each require sand to be added to the sidewalls to prevent floating. Plastic has a slight negative buoyancy, so some sand needs to be added to prevent them from floating or bobbing in the pool. It is absolutely necessary to follow the instructions and add the appropriate amount of sand.
